THE UNCOMFORTABLE TRUTH THAT THE “SPECIAL OPERATION” IN IRAN SHOULD REMIND US.

A wolf in sheep’s clothing
There is a paradox in the idea that America has always seen itself as an isolationist country and in the fact that, for most of its existence, we have been at war with someone.
We entered the 2 World Wars relatively late. Forty-one months after the start of WWI and more than two years after the start of WWII. And only because Japan forced our hand and Germany declared war on us. Until then, we were pretty happy to remain neutral and to sell goods and equipment to both sides of the conflict. That was a good and profitable example of “America First” at its best. We also like to think of ourselves, the United States of America, as the great defender of liberties, democracy, and human rights. It is a pretty picture, albeit far from reality.
But here is an undeniable fact: The U.S. Has Been at war for 227 of the 250 years since 1776. This is an incredible 91 percent of the time. And that does not include U.S. “secret wars” against other democratic states for which the CIA was labeled as the most significant terrorist organization in the world.
In the 20th century, the U.S. won ten out of 31 wars on its own, a 32.25 percent record.
In all the wars that followed, the number of wars the U.S. won on its own is………
ZERO.
Okay, that is not entirely true[1]. The 1983 false flag invasion of Granada, despite the abysmal performance of our military intelligence, was a complete success. With 7,000 U.S. troops, we sure showed those 43 Cuban “military advisers” who were the boss.
That should make us ponder what we get from our enormous investment in our bloated military- industrial complex. And that does not even take into account the human cost, which we dismissively summarize with a
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE
Which ultimately translates into a
NOW, GET LOST
in the way we treat our veterans.
All this is to show that we should put in perspective all those vitriolic comments towards a country that refused to follow our “False Flag” excuse to invade Iraq, not because they were cowards, like the way we used to portray France, but because, contrary to the British, France did not feel the need to be George W. Bush’s lackey.
This Post is an excerpt from THE SECOND COMING OF “TRUMP THE FIRST.
2026 Update
The same rationale that applied to Iraq explains NATO's reluctance to clean up the mess the Trump Administration started. And since Trump promises to remember the cowardice of our allies, he should also remember that NATO responded the only time Article 5 was invoked by the United States. But it is not certain that America would reciprocate if Russia attacks the European Union, since until now, Trump has always sided with Putin.
All of this to conclude that we should believe Donald Trump when he tells us that America is not at war with Iran, because we cannot mentally bear the thought of losing another war. So, a SPECIAL OPERATION IT IS.
Besides,
WE HAVE ALREADY WON!
[1] Two other Caribbean countries were also involved, but they do not count.
